Strawberry nose: how to clean heavily clogged pores?
The nose has become like a strawberry, but it's not cute at all.
If you have problems with clogged pores, you don't need to explain what a strawberry nose is. It sounds nice, but the situation is not very good. When the nose is covered with black dots, it means that it's time to take a course for total cleansing. But the path will not be easy.
Why does the strawberry nose effect occur?
Dr. Takayuki Toyama cites clogged pores and a disrupted skin renewal process as the main cause of this phenomenon. Old keratin hardens on the surface of the face and forms a keratin plug. Sebum oxidizes and changes color to black. This problem is especially typical for the T-zone, which includes the forehead, nose and chin.
Normally, sebum is released on a regular basis and is washed off during cleansing. With insufficient cleaning, it remains in the pores, clogs them, oxidizes and turns black - so a new black dot is ready.
The situation is aggravated by the remnants of cosmetics and make-up, which clog into the pores. Dry skin - because of this, sebum is produced more actively. Or neglect of sunscreens - UV rays destroy collagen and the skin loses elasticity, and the pore walls stretch.
How to take care of the skin to prevent a “strawberry nose”
The main thing is not to squeeze out the black dots, because this will only make the situation worse. The skin may react with an even more “strawberry” nose.
1. Thorough washing
The obvious advice, it would seem. But the details are important. The Japanese use cleansing foams for washing, which need to be whipped with a mesh until a thick foam forms. They wash their face with it, lightly massaging the skin with foam, but without fingers directly contacting the skin. Wash thoroughly, but do not delay the procedure to avoid the release of excess sebum.
2. Less makeup
When a problem pisses you off, you just want to throw all your efforts into fighting it. For example, fill the skin with all possible cleansing gels and tonics. However, dermatologists do not recommend applying too many products at a time. It is better to choose one lotion and “layer” it: apply a little product, lightly pressing with the palm of your hand, let it soak in. And so on two more times, be sure to keep the time until the product is completely absorbed before the next application.
3. UV protection
UV radiation “hits” the skin. It loses elasticity, and constant exposure to the sun can lead to enlarged pores. We need sanskrins: in a stick, with vitamins, rejuvenating or whitening.
4. Visit to a cosmetologist
Once a month, you can do a chemical peeling or deep moisturizing procedure in the cosmetologist's office. And add products with AHA and BHA acids to your home beauty routine.
5. Monitor nutrition
Not “again", but again. Fried and fatty foods, in particular various snacks, increase the secretion of sebum and the likelihood of its accumulation in the pores.
Is it possible to teach the skin to be beautiful and clean?
In Japan, the trend of hada iku, or “skin education”, is becoming more and more popular. Its purpose is to eliminate the root causes of skin problems, because everything is better to prevent than to treat. Follow the above recommendations to be in the hada iku trend, and see strawberries only in the plate, not on the nose.
