Mayuhana Cocoon Silk Soap is a creamy, gentle soap using sterile silk cocoons that moisturizes and firms the skin. Cocoons are obtained from precious silk threads grown exclusively at home (Takaoka City, Gunma Prefecture).
Silk cocoons have long been used in the Japanese beauty industry, because the protein contained in them gently envelops the skin and protects it from dryness and ultraviolet rays.
Aseptic cocoons grown under sterile conditions are crushed and mixed without chemical treatment.
The proteins in the cocoons, sericin and fibiroin, form a silk film that fills your skin with moisture. Sericin increases the moisturizing capacity of about 10 times compared to the action of collagen. Fibroin protects the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays.
Mayuka soap contains Lipidure, a long-lasting moisturizing complex that stays on the skin even after washing and removes the feeling of tightness. It retains about twice as much water in cells as hyaluronic acid
The soft foam that soap forms when interacting with water resembles a delicate cream and envelops the skin, removing impurities and sebaceous secretions, leaving the skin soft and silky.
